Weโre so grateful for our guidance counselor, Mrs. Chiquita Jackson, and the countless ways she supports, uplifts, and guides the students and staff of WCMS each and every day!
During National School Counseling Week 2026, we celebrate her heart for helping others grow, dream big, and reach new heights!

Today, students in Dr. Scott's classes created diagrams using clay or cloud dough to compare and contrast bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Using technology and following the diagrams and rubrics provided, students dug into this assignment with a lot of imagination and a few interesting questions along the way, too! ๐งฌ๐ฆ
The learning target "I am learning to identify and describe microorganisms found in healthcare settings," was clearly outlined with this fun, hands-on module.

Good Afternoon, Warrior Nation!
We are closely monitoring the potential for severe weather this weekend and possibly into Monday. Recent forecasts indicate a wintry mix that may include rain, freezing temperatures, and snow in and around our area.
At this time, there are no changes to the school district schedule, as the forecast remains uncertain. We are actively working with local agencies and weather officials and will provide a detailed update as soon as more information becomes available.
We appreciate your understanding and support.

101 Days of Learning : Tomorrow we celebrate 101 Days of School, and we canโt wait to see the creative, fun, and thoughtful ways our students and schools mark the day! From classroom activities to student projects, itโs a great moment to highlight how far our learners have come this year.

Tomorrow will be an asynchronous learning day for all Wilkinson County Schools students. There will be no in-person classes. Students should complete the assignments that were sent home or are available online through their teacherโs platform. Staff will be available during regular school hours to provide support and answer questions. Thank you for your partnership in supporting student learning.
