Mrs. Larkin's seventh and eighth-grade students are boosting their math fluency with a friendly competition of integer wars! It's a fun way to practice and sharpen their math skills—everyone wins!

Our eighth graders had an exciting day at Mercer University, rotating through four engaging STEM sessions, including two at the School of Medicine, one on the transformation of energy, and one in technology communications. A huge thanks to LaTrina Howell, Central GYSTC coordinator, for partnering with our teachers to make this incredible learning experience possible me. We're grateful for the opportunity to inspire and educate our future STEM leaders.

🎉 Congratulations to our incredible Math Warriors for their outstanding performance at the Oconee RESA Regional Middle School Math Competition! 🎉 Our students secured 3rd place out of seven schools and 35 talented participants, showcasing their dedication and teamwork. The competition included both a written exam and a ciphering event, and our students rose to the challenge with confidence and precision. WCMS celebrated Love the Bus Month by surprising our bus drivers with a goodie bag this morning! Bus drivers play a vital role in the school system, ensuring our students' safety and providing a welcoming start and end to their school day!
