Mrs. Larkin's seventh and eighth-grade students are boosting their math fluency with a friendly competition of integer wars! It's a fun way to practice and sharpen their math skillsโeveryone wins!







Our eighth graders had an exciting day at Mercer University, rotating through four engaging STEM sessions, including two at the School of Medicine, one on the transformation of energy, and one in technology communications.

๐ Congratulations to our incredible Math Warriors for their outstanding performance at the Oconee RESA Regional Middle School Math Competition! ๐
Our students secured 3rd place out of seven schools and 35 talented participants, showcasing their dedication and teamwork. The competition included both a written exam and a ciphering event, and our students rose to the challenge with confidence and precision.
A special thank you to Ms. Williams, our amazing 8th-grade Mathematics teacher and Math Department Chair, for her guidance and support.

Our Math Warriors are making the most of Winter Break! A group of dedicated scholars kicked off their break with a middle grades math competition at Oconee RESA. We're excited to see them shine! Thanks to Ms. Tomika Reeves for making shirts for our students to wear today!

Today, we celebrate Deputy Leslie Steele in recognition of National School Resource Officer (SRO) Day which was February 15th. Thank you for your dedication to keeping our school safe, collaborating with teachers and administrators to promote safety, and building meaningful relationships with our students. We appreciate all that you do to make WCMS a safer and supportive place for our students and staff!

WCMS celebrated Love the Bus Month by surprising our bus drivers with a goodie bag this morning! Bus drivers play a vital role in the school system, ensuring our students' safety and providing a welcoming start and end to their school day!
