Families of STREAM I & STREAM II students are invited to join us for an evening of hands-on learning and creativity. Together, you’ll build, design, experiment, and problem-solve through interactive challenges that show how STREAM learning connects to real life.

This is a chance for students to lead the way while families explore right alongside them, learning, laughing, and creating together. We look forward to seeing our STREAM families there! 💙💛

Our 8th-grade ELA and Social Studies classes held their highly anticipated mock trial last week! Not only does this lesson support learning outside of the box, but it also supports critical thinking, teamwork, and argumentative language. Thank you to the team of Ms. Franklin, Ms. Cabiness, and Mr. Peters for spearheading this ingenious, dynamic lesson. Special thanks to our parents who attended to witness these scholars in action! Students, your hard work and preparation paid off! Excellence, indeed!

We’re so grateful for our guidance counselor, Mrs. Chiquita Jackson, and the countless ways she supports, uplifts, and guides the students and staff of WCMS each and every day! During National School Counseling Week 2026, we celebrate her heart for helping others grow, dream big, and reach new heights!

Today, students in Dr. Scott's classes created diagrams using clay or cloud dough to compare and contrast bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Using technology and following the diagrams and rubrics provided, students dug into this assignment with a lot of imagination and a few interesting questions along the way, too! 🧬🦠
The learning target "I am learning to identify and describe microorganisms found in healthcare settings," was clearly outlined with this fun, hands-on module.
