Wilkinson County Middle School student-athletes delivered a strong showing at the recent CRSA Championships, earning top finishes and setting multiple personal records across a range of events.
Top Finishers included:
3rd Place – Boys 4x200m Relay: Dekingston Harris, Deaubrae Walker, Devin Nesbitt, Jamarcus Hogan
3rd Place – Boys 300m Hurdles: Dekingston Harris
3rd Place – Boys 4x400m Relay: Christian Davis, Jamarcus Hogan, Caden Doke, Deion Nesbitt
1st Place – Girls Long Jump: Aubrei Miller
3rd Place – Girls Discus: Aubrei Miller
2nd Place – Boys Long Jump: DeKingston Harris
3rd Place – Boys Long Jump: Deaubrae Walker
3rd Place – Boys Shot Put: Deion Nesbitt
Several athletes also recorded standout performances and personal bests:
Shaytiah Rogers placed 4th in the 100m Hurdles
Amarie Grissett achieved personal bests in the 800m and 1600m
Caden Doke placed 5th and set personal bests in the 1600m and 400m
Dermiyus Stanley set a personal best in the 400m
Jameson Clay set a personal best in Shot Put
Christian Davis placed 4th and set a personal best in the 800m, along with personal bests in Shot Put and Discus
Deion Nesbitt set a personal best in Discus
Eden Crutchfield set a personal best in Discus
Jakalya Jones set personal bests in Shot Put and Discus
Madison Driskell set a personal best in the 200m
Sajada Boyington competed in the 100m
According to MileSplit, this WCMS team is the most decorated in program history, reflecting the continued growth and success of middle school athletics in Wilkinson County.
