Mercer school mascot poses and interacts with children during the Title I Meeting and STEM Night.

Wilkinson County Schools hosted its Annual Parent Title I Meeting and STEM Night, welcoming families from across the district for an evening of learning, exploration, and connection. The event provided parents with important information about Title I programming while offering students hands-on STEM activities that made the night both educational and fun.

We extend our appreciation to Mrs. Ransom, Mr. Horne, and the entire planning committee for organizing a successful and well-coordinated event. Their hard work ensured that families received valuable resources and engaging opportunities throughout the evening.

A special thank you goes to Ms. Latrina Howell of GYSTC/Mercer University for leading a series of interactive STEM stations that students and parents enjoyed together. From science challenges to creative engineering tasks, her activities sparked curiosity and excitement for all ages.

Our school mascots were also in attendance and were a major hit among students and families, adding an extra layer of fun to an already memorable night.
