Top Lexile Achievers Recognized at September 17 Board Meeting
Students with Highest Lexile Scores Celebrated During Literacy Month
At the September 17 Board of Education meeting, students from across the district were honored for achieving the highest Lexile scores in their respective grade levels. This recognition comes at a fitting time, as we celebrate Literacy Month, spotlighting the importance of reading and literacy in academic success.
These exceptional students have shown tremendous growth and dedication to improving their reading skills, demonstrating a commitment to excellence that serves as an example for their peers. From elementary to high school, our Lexile Leaders have raised the bar in literacy achievement.
Superintendent Dr. Angela James applauded the students, saying, “These young scholars represent the future of our district’s success. Their hard work and passion for reading will carry them far, and we are so proud of their accomplishments.”
This recognition aligns with the district’s ongoing commitment to fostering a strong foundation in literacy, ensuring students are prepared for success in both academic and real-world settings. The district will continue to support reading initiatives that drive student achievement and prepare them for future opportunities.
Congratulations to all our Lexile Leaders! Your dedication is paving the way for a brighter future.
